Six steps · No bond · No weekly rent

How prepaid km works

Think of it as a phone plan for a Tesla. Load up some km, drive, and top up when you need more. No weekly rent, and nothing to chase. The steps are the same whether you're commuting, running the family around, between cars or driving rideshare.

Step 1: Apply (about two minutes)

Fill in the apply form with your details, which car you're after and how you'll use it (private, rideshare or both). We'll check eligibility and give you a call. Everyone needs to be 25+ with an open licence held for 12+ months. Rideshare drivers also need a QLD Booked Hire Driver Authorisation. Private renters don't need those two.

Step 2: Buy your starter pack

New drivers start with the 9,000 km pack: A$1,990 incl. GST on standard plans (about 22c/km), or A$4,190 (2027 Model 3) / A$4,590 (2027 Model Y) on Premium. It unlocks your car. There's no bond. We place a pre-authorisation through our secure Stripe checkout. If you withdraw before the car is allocated, the hold drops off automatically after 7 days.

Step 3: Pick up and unlock with your phone

Download the Tesla app and set up your account. We'll share access to the car, then you locate it and unlock it with the app. Your car is handed over with at least 80% charge.

Step 4: Drive, charge, repeat

Charge at home, at a Supercharger or on any major public network. Charging is your cost, and it's usually a lot friendlier than a petrol bowser. New to EVs? We'll walk you through charging when you start.

Step 5: Top up whenever you like

Standard plans top up with 500, 1,000, 2,000 or 9,000 km straight from the checkout. Prepaid km never expire as long as you top up at least once every 8 weeks (minimum top-up 500 km; Premium 1,000 km). Premium top-ups come in 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 and 9,000 km packs. Premium drivers: contact us to top up Premium (TXT 0483 904 838 or [email protected]).

Pay by Osko if you can. It's free and instant, and the checkout shows the bank details and how to write the reference. Card fees go straight to the banks. Let's not feed them. Card top-ups are credited instantly too.

Step 6: Hand it back whenever you're done

There's no lock-in. Bring it back clean and undamaged (normal wear and tear is fine). Any km you haven't used stay in your account under the Terms.

Optional: Full Self-Driving (Supervised)

FSD Option Now Available on Premium plans: add FSD (Supervised) as an extra subscription on top of your prepaid km (priced by Tesla). Signed up for it? We'll show you how to turn it on and how to supervise it properly. You stay attentive and in control, hands ready to take over at any time. It doesn't make the car autonomous.
